Educational History:

Graduated from Emporia State Univeristy

Working on my Masters Art in Teaching at Friends University.

Degrees and Certifications:

Bachelors of Science in Art Education K-12

Current Position:

I returned to teaching at Belle Plaine High School in the Fall 2018.  This is the start of my thirteenth year teaching, ten of those years being at Belle Plaine High School.  I was previously the Art/Graphic Design Instructor at Belle Plaine from 2000-2007.  

I currently teach Photo Imaging I, Graphic Design Fundamentals, Computer Graphics, Drawing I, Painting I, and Sculpture.   Kansas CTE: Graphic Design Pathway.

Previous Position:

Between 2006 till returning to Education in 2017, I was a member of the Creative Services team at Boeing-IDS Wichita and Spirit AeroSystems, as a Professional Photographer and Graphic Designer.

2000-2007 Art/Graphic Design Instructor at Belle Plaine High School

1997-2000 Art Instructor at Northeast-Arma High School

Family Information:

I have two beautiful daughters that are Junior in HS, and a 7th grader. 

Personal Information:

When I not busy attending all my daughters activities and athletic events, I look forward to relaxing and spending time with my family and friends.
