Current Position:

  • I started teaching at Belle Plaine High School in the fall of 2002 which makes me an old-timer at BPHS!
  • I currently teach government, economics, two levels of psychology, two levels of sociology, and I am the accompanist for Belle Plaine Singers.

Previous Position:

2002 to the present:  Social Studies teacher at Belle Plaine High School

1993-2002:  Special Education teacher at Pratt High School in Pratt, Kansas.

1989-2002:  Special Education paraprofessional for Pratt schools.

Family Information:

My husband and I are enjoying our empty nest and the occasional visits with our blended family of four daughters and two sons and their families who are spread out across the country.  We share the house with a rambunctious German Shepherd, our inherited Bichon-Poo, and a goofy cat.  

Personal Information:

My husband and I spend a good chunk of our summers on the road in our camper with our two dogs and a cat.   We love to experience new places, people, music, and cultures.
